NEW BRUNSWICK ENTREPRENEUR PROGRAM

The New Brunswick Entrepreneurial Stream- is another pathway for Entrepreneurs looking for Permanent Residency based on their intention to invest in the Canadian Province of New Brunswick.
  • Have legally accumulated net-worth exceeding C $ 600,000 (Net-worth means everything applicant and spouse own, such as properties, business, bank deposits, stock and shares anywhere in the world)
  • Invest minimum of C $ 250,000 in your own business in New Brunswick within the 2 years of landing in Canada as an Permanent Residence.
  • Have at minimum of three years of management experience within the last five years either running your own Business or Managing an enterprise at the Senior Executive level.
  • Make exploratory trip to New Brunswick for minimum of 5 business day within the last 24 months prior to submission of EOI.

    • BRITISH COLUMBIA ENTREPRENEUR PROGRAM

    The BC PNP Regional Pilot is focused on attracting entrepreneurs from around the world to establish businesses in regional communities. There are many regions all of British Columbia involved in this program. Participating communities will refer foreign entrepreneurs to the BC PNP whose business concept align with the community’s economic priorities.

    British Columbia offers two entrepreneur programs for business immigration:

  • Regional Pilot Program:
  • The BC PNP Regional Pilot is focused on attracting entrepreneurs from around the world to establish businesses in regional communities. There are many regions all of British Columbia involved in this program. Participating communities will refer foreign entrepreneurs to the BC PNP whose business concept align with the community’s economic priorities.

    • Program Requirements

  • Experience: 3+ years of experience as a business owner-manager, OR, 4+ years of experience as a senior manager, OR, a combination of 1+ year of experience as a business owner-manager and 2+ years of experience as a senior manager.

    • < li>Net Worth: You must have a minimum of $300,000 in personal net worth, which includes your spouse or common-law partner, and your dependent children, if applicable. Your personal net worth must be legally obtained and verifiable.

  • Exploratory Visit and Community Referral.
  • Investment of $100,000 into a business.

    • Basic Category:

  • British Columbia, along with many parts of the world, is facing the demographic challenge of an aging population. There are many business owners in B.C. who are considering retirement, but

    they may not have succession plans in place for entrepreneurs to take over their businesses. The EI – Base Category is an option for foreign entrepreneurs to purchase and improve existing businesses in B.C., which may also assist in providing business succession opportunities for these retiring business owners.

    Program Requirements

  • The personal net worth of minimum $600,000, legally obtained.
  • Invest minimum $200,000 in an eligible new business or to purchase and improve an existing business in BC.
  • Create at least one new full-time job in your business for a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident.
  • Canadian Language Benchmark Level 4 In English or French in each of the four competencies: listening, speaking, reading, and writing, by the time of nomination.
  • Suitable business and/or management experience.
  • Have, or be eligible for, legal temporary immigration status in Canada.
  • Have been lawfully admitted to the country where you currently reside.

    • MANITOBA ENTREPRENEUR PROGRAM

    Manitoba Business Immigration Program

    The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program for Business (MPNP-B), as part of its ongoing drive for innovation and preservation of program integrity, is introducing some important changes to its program operations. The potential Applicants will have the opportunity to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) to the Program. All EOI submissions will be placed in an pool and will be assessed based on a point system using an Adaptability Assessment Matrix. (Depends on Age, English, Education, Net Worth and intent of settling in Manitoba, as well as management experience)

    Program Requirements

  • Have accumulated net-worth exceeding C$ 600,000 to CAD 1 million or above (Net-worth means everything applicant and spouse own, such as properties, business, bank deposits, stock and shares anywhere in the world).
  • Have at minimum of three years of management experience either running your own business or managing an enterprise at the executive level.
  • Make minimum Invest of C$ 250,000 in a new or existing business in the province of Manitoba in the metro area or invest C $ 150,000 outside metro areas (Rural areas /small towns of Manitoba like Brandon, Thompson, etc.)

    • SASKATCHEWAN ENTREPRENEUR PROGRAM

    The Saskatchewan Entrepreneur program was launched to attract business owners or senior managers with the intentions of meeting the economic needs in Saskatchewan.

    Program Requirements

  • Have a minimum of C $500,000 in Net Business and Personal Assets.
  • Have at least three years of relevant business management or entrepreneurial experience gained in the past ten years.
  • Plan to invest a minimum of C $300,000 in Regina and Saskatoon, or a minimum of C $200,000 in all other Saskatchewan communities.

    • NOVA SCOTIA BUSINESS PROGRAM

    The Entrepreneur Stream of the Nova Scotia Nominee Program (NSNP) is an immigration program for experienced business owners or senior business managers who wish to start or acquire a business in Nova Scotia, Canada and who intend to provide active and ongoing participation in the day-to-day management and direction of a business.

    Program Requirement:

  • Have a net worth of at least C $600,000.
  • Have at least 3 years experience actively managing and owning a business (1/3 ownership minimum) OR more than 5 years’ experience in a senior business management role.
  • Have a score of at least 5 on the Canadian Language Benchmark in speaking, listening, reading, and writing in English or French.

    • PEI BUSINESS IMMIGRATION PROGRAM

    The work permit stream of Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program leads to permanent residency for foreign nations with business ownership or extensive management experience if you meet the eligibility criteria and would invest and run a business in the region.

    Program Requirements

  • Have a minimum verifiable personal net worth of $600,000.
  • Be within 21-59 years of age at the time of application.
  • Have transferable management skills and past employment or business ownership experience.
  • Meet minimum language requirements equivalent to a CLB 4 .
  • Intend to live and work in PEI while providing day-to-day active and ongoing management of your PEI-based company.
  • Attend an interview with staff from the Office of Immigration.
  • Meet the terms and conditions of the Performance Agreement signed with the Office of Immigration.
